Nicole the Math Lady is a self-paced video program designed to support students as they work through a math curriculum at home. The program provides lesson instruction, automated online grading, and progress tracking. Students work through their course one lesson at a time using a combination of video instruction and their math textbooks.
Lesson Instruction
Each lesson begins with a video explanation from Nicole that teaches the concepts for that lesson. Students watch the video first so they understand the material before beginning their practice problems.
The videos follow the structure of the textbooks and are designed to guide students through the lesson step-by-step.
Student Practice
After watching the lesson video, students complete the assigned problems in their textbook or workbook. Many families also use the online grading feature so students can enter their answers and receive immediate feedback.
Students typically complete one lesson at a time and move forward at their own pace.
Parent Dashboard and Progress Tracking
Parents manage the program through the Parent Dashboard. From there, you can:
• assign or change your student’s course
• choose the starting lesson
• customize online grading settings
• view reports and track your student’s progress
These tools allow parents to stay involved while students work independently.
Flexible and Self-Paced
Nicole the Math Lady is not a live class and does not follow a fixed schedule. Students can pause, rewind, and rewatch videos as needed, and families can adjust the pace of the course to fit their schedule.
This flexibility allows students to spend more time on challenging topics and move more quickly through material they already understand.
