As much as Nicole would love to work out specific math problems for individual students, it is simply not something we can offer as part of our program.

However, there are a few suggestions we have for our Saxon Math customers:

1. Lesson Links: Beneath each problem in the Problem Sets/Mixed Problem Sets/Written Practice Sets, there is a little tiny reference number. That number refers to the lesson where that concept was introduced. Going back to watch that Lesson Video for that specific concept might be what need to figure out how to solve the problem. The applicable Lesson Video can be found by clicking the yellow play icon conveniently posted next to every problem in Online Grading.

2. One-Minute Tutorials: One-Minute Tutorials offer quick and concise reviews on 120+ topics, divided into convenient categories. The One-Minute Tutorial options can be found by clicking the yellow play icon conveniently posted next to every problem in Online Grading.

3. Flag the Problem: If you cannot figure out how to solve the problem with the above suggestions, we suggest you click the "Flag for later" button. You can find it in the upper right corner of the Online Grading problem. This will allow you to bypass the problem so you can continue with the rest of your assignment . Before you submit your assignment for grading, you will be reminded to revisit the flagged problem. At that time, if you still need additional help, discussing it with your parent or other math-minded person will hopefully help.

4. Solutions Manual: Oftentimes, this offers enough explanation.

Please note: We are not giving you permission to use the Solutions Manual. :) We are suggesting you discuss the idea with your parent/teacher.
