Modified on Tue, 3 Mar at 3:33 PM

You can customize Online Grading to fit your student’s needs.

All Online Grading settings are located here:

Parent Dashboard → Course Settings → Online Grading Settings

Enable or Disable Assignment Types

You may choose which types of assignments your student sees.

To enable or disable assignments:

  1. Go to your Parent Dashboard.

  2. Click Course Settings on your student’s card.

  3. Scroll to Online Grading Settings.

  4. Toggle assignment types on or off.

  5. Click Save.

If tests or other assignments are not appearing, they may be disabled in this section.

For a full list of assignment types offered for each curriculum, see:

Choose Which Problems Your Student Completes

For most assignments, you can control which problems your student sees:

  • All problems

  • Even problems

  • Odd problems

  • Even problems on even-numbered lessons / odd on odd

  • Even problems on even-numbered days / odd on odd

  • Student Choice (student selects before beginning)

  • Parent Choice (parent selects problems in advance)

These options are adjusted within Online Grading Settings.

Control the Number of Attempts

By default, students are allowed three attempts per problem.

You may increase or decrease the number of attempts within Online Grading Settings.

You may also set different attempt limits for different assignment types.

Please note: The number of attempts for multiple-choice questions may be limited by the number of available answer choices.

Why Aren’t Certain Assignments Showing?

If an assignment type is missing:

  • It may be disabled in Online Grading Settings.

  • Verify that the correct curriculum and textbook are selected in Course Settings.

Enable the desired assignment types and click Save.

Do Students Have to Complete All Problems?

No. You may customize:

  • Which assignment types are visible.

  • Which problems appear within each assignment.

  • How many attempts are allowed.

All options are found in Online Grading Settings.
